Initial Objective

Integrate a separate data system (IIoT, Industrial IoT) into the customer’s primary ERP software system – Infor Syteline. The goal was to create a productized Syteline custom IoT integration module.

Advanced Integration

This is a common requirement for companies – to truly integrate multiple systems, enable data to talk to and inform each other, enable complex querying of data across systems, reduce redundant data entry, and to reduce multiple interfaces.

This project required integration with Syteline, and we have advanced Infor Mongoose and Infor Syteline experience, especially with integration and customization. So this project featured true, full integration with Syteline, via complex integration features of the Infor Mongoose framework (IDO Extension classes, Application Event System (AES), embedded custom web controls and more.

It also included the right data visualization, to show key, relevant data in the ERP context.

The nature of the custom module, as well as the incredible flexibility and customizable interface of the Mongoose framework allows extensions and modifications. For example, any IoT sensor can be added, its readings mapped, and any necessary KPI can be visualized.
