Janus3 Wave Metrics

Initial Objective

Provide a summarized HMI (Human-Machine Interface) over a complex energy management software system.

This project involved several unique requirements, not least the need to have a simple interface, without distracting visual objects, and to build for safety and potential catastrophe management. A microgrid needs constant monitoring, and the ability to correct major issues may come down to seconds, so it is critical to get where you need to be in the software instantly.

Sometimes simple is not just better but necessary.

We also needed the UI design to look beautiful, which is key for initial impressions, user experience, as well as marketing requirements.
